Maynilad says water rates will come down in July

MANILA, Philippines — The water concessionaire Maynilad, which has recently applied for a rate increase, now says rates in July will go down by 10 percent or P3.90 per cubic meter as it gained P978 million in refinancing $120 million worth of loans.


It said the rate adjustment would be good until the end of 2013.
