Century sales up in QC venture

92% take-up rate in Commonwealth project

By

CENTURY Properties Group Inc. has reported a strong market reception to its P4-billion mid-rise residential community on Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City, that marked its debut into the “affordable” residential property business.

CPG co-chief operating officer Marco Antonio said that of the total 1,515 units brought to the property market since pre-selling began in July last year, 92 percent or 1,395 units have been taken up. This made the project—called The Commonwealth by Century—one of the group’s faster selling project to date.

Five out of eight towers on the 4.4-hectare mid-rise community project have been made available for sale so far. The project also marks CPG’s first venture in the Quezon City area.

Antonio attributed the strong sales take-up to the “unique selling proposition of good location, well-planned units and amenities offered at affordable prices.”

The project will rise right beside Don Antonio Heights and is within the vicinity of a shopping center, top schools, techno hubs, churches and major thoroughfares. It has convenient access to transportation like shuttles, buses, jeepneys and a future MRT station.

Antonio added that prospective homeowners in search of value-for-money homes starting at P2.5 million found the Commonwealth project a good purchase.

The Commonwealth by Century residential package pitches to prospective buyers residential layouts with extended balconies and “unique” amenities that encourage outdoor social interaction. Overall, the project is envisioned to be a master-planned community with open space, greenery and waterscapes and round-the-clock safety and security systems.

Units come in suites and one-bedroom configurations that range from 21 to 49 square meters. Larger-cut two-bedroom units from 64 to 72 square meters are also available.

CPG has been in the real estate business for the last 27 years. Its projects include the Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque City, with a beach club designed by Hollywood celebrity Paris Hilton; the Knightsbridge Residences at Century City, Trump Tower at Century City, the Milano Residences interior design by Versace Home, Acqua Livingstone interior design by MissoniHome; Acqua Iguazu yoo inspired by Starck, and Centuria Medical Makati in partnership with GE Healthcare.
