HONG KONG–Hong Kong shares ended the morning session 0.60 percent higher on Friday after HSBC released data showing Chinese manufacturing activity picking up further in December.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 133.64 points to 22,579.22 on turnover worth HK$32.70 billion ($4.35 billion).
