Hong Kong stocks open up 0.26 percent





Hong Kong–Hong Kong shares rose 0.26 percent in early trade on Friday morning despite a lack of progress in Washington talks aimed at averting the fiscal cliff.


The benchmark Hang Seng Index was up 59.75 points at 22,679.53 in the first minutes.
