MANILA, Philippines—The title may sound grand in scale but the key points highlighted in the 2nd Workforce Management (WFM) Seminar, which was held at the SMX Convention Center at SM Aura in Taguig City on Saturday, March 22, were detailed.
The convention organizer, Henderson Blake Business Solutions, aims to improve the workforce management industry in the Philippines.
True to its promise, speakers of the seminar provided participants some insights, brought about by in-depth analyses, on how the industry can strengthen its forecasting techniques and employee-schedule management.
Transactions forecast close to accurate will allow companies to devise a fitting demand-supply strategy that will efficiently utilize its workforce while delivering seamless services to clients. But while companies continuously work on forecasting transactions, glitches might still arise if scheduling conflicts are not foreseen, more so, not dealt with properly. That is why the 2nd WFM Seminar also shared tips on how the industry can maintain quality output delivery without aggravating staff that seek schedule changes and leave approval.
Tips on how to yield quality performance without increasing attrition in the team were also discussed, and lastly, the interrelation among these vital factors and how these can be brought together for the company’s gain were the topics that topped the night.
Henderson Blake Managing Director Michael Rastas tells INQUIRER.net in a quick interview that in a nutshell, what workforce management is truly about is how organization managements nurture employees while making sure that companies continue to execute strategic schedules supervision, and also, to help shape employees become the best version of their professional selves that they can be.
