Hong Kong stocks up 0.94 percent at open





HONG KONG– Hong Kong stocks rose 0.94 percent on bargain-buying at the open Friday following the previous day’s sell-off, while a Wall Street rally also provided support.


The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 196.37 points to 21,083.41 in the first few minutes.
