MANILA, Philippines – Banco De Oro (BDO) has advised the public about service disruptions in its automated teller machines (ATM) on Sunday.
Philippine Daily Inquirer business reporter Doris Dumlao quoted BDO in a tweet as saying that ATMs, point of sale (POS) terminals, as well as online banking transactions among BDO ATM and debit cardholders will be unavailable on Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This is due to a “series of hardware maintenance work system,” BDO said.
Meanwhile, transactions of cash cards and credit cards will not be affected, Dumlao quoted BDO as saying.
BDO’s machines have been offline since Friday and had just resumed operations on Saturday afternoon.
“We needed to update the backlog transactions which were affected by the slowdown (Friday) due to hardware problems,” BDO said in explaining the disruption.
