Hong Kong stocks open 1.04 percent lower

HONG KONG–Hong Kong stocks slipped 1.04 percent in the first few minutes of trade Friday following losses on Wall Street.


The benchmark Hang Seng Index eased 242.07 points to 23,097.98.
