China shares down 0.47 percent in morning trade

SHANGHAI – Chinese shares were down 0.47 percent in morning trade Friday, extending losses from the previous session, after data showing manufacturing activity slowed in December, dealers said.


The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index shed 9.97 points to 2,099.42.
