MANILA, Philippines – In a bid to reward Filipino motorists, Pilipinas Shell has partnered with Marketing Convergence Inc., the company behind SM Advantage, to offer premiums for every fuel purchase at its retail stations nationwide.
Oying Yam, Pilipinas Shell Vice-President for Retail, headed the launching of the partnership Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia. He reiterated the company’s quest in delivering better products and services to clienteles.
“At Shell, we always find unique ways to give our customers excellent experience everytime they visit the station. We want to reward their loyalty and support, and we believe that partnering with the largest loyalty program, SM Advantage, is the perfect way to do this,” Yam said in a statement.
Under the new scheme that started September 1, motorists will earn shopping points every time they gas up at Shell stations using their SM Advantage Card, SM Prestige, and BDO Rewards Cards. They can also earn points by dining at Shell Select, its service station-based 24-hour convenience store, and by having their vehicles serviced at Shell Helix Service Centres or Shell Helix Oil Change+.
Stephanie Cua, Pilipinas Shell Marketing Manager for Retail, acknowledged its partner corporation and urged customers to avail of the promos.
“We are honored to forged this wonderful partnership, and we would like to thank Marketing Convergence Inc., for choosing Shell as its new and exclusive fuels company partner for SM Advantage,” Cua said in the same statement.
