MANILA, Philippines–The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has announced the resumption of Zamboanga Airport operations, for one special roundtrip Manila-Zamboanga-Manila Cebu Pacific flight on September 19, 2013.
In an advisory issued Wednesday, CEB said its call center will call guests originally booked on Manila-Zamboanga-Manila flights on September 19, 2013 for their preferred option.
The options include: taking the flight on September 19, 2013, rebooking, getting a full refund or travel fund, rerouting, or proceeding with previously rebooked or cancelled flight.
‘‘We would like to request passengers on the special flights on September 19, 2013 to please bring only one carry-on bag (up to 7 kilos), to check in at the airport early, and to cooperate with the special security procedures at the airport,’’ the advisory said.
CEB also requested for the patience of guests on other Zamboanga flights, as the airline company was allowed to operate only one flight on September 19, 2013.
For their options, CEB asked passengers to call (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888, any time even after their flights.
CEB reiterated its hope for its guests’ understanding ‘‘as this situation is beyond the airline’s control.’’
CEB said it would continue to provide updates as soon as available.
