MOST banks in the country will stop their operations during Holy Thursday and Good Friday.


The following banks will be closed starting Thursday and will resume operations on Monday, April 6:



  • Banco de Oro

  • Bank of the Philippine Islands

  • Chinabank

  • Philippine Veterans Bank

  • Security Bank

  • United Coconut Planters Bank

  • UnionBank


Meanwhile, select branches of the Philippine National Bank will be open for transactions from Thursday to Sunday. For details, check http://bit.ly/PNB_HolyWeek2015.


All banks said that their ATMs and electronic channels would be open to handle transactions. AJH/AC
