Tokyo stocks down 0.64 percent by break








TOKYO–Tokyo stocks fell 0.64 percent Friday morning, tracking a fall on Wall Street, as investors await the end of a Bank of Japan policy meeting.


The benchmark Nikkei 225 index slipped 95.53 points to 14,878.00 by the break, while the Topix index of all first-section shares eased 0.58 percent, or 7.17 points, to 1,230.58.
