I-Remit teams up with Lakhoo for remittances from Oman

MANILA, Philippines—The cash transfer company I-Remit Inc. has teamed up with Lakhoo Money Exchange, one of the leading institutions in Oman, to expand its remittance coverage in the Middle East.


With this partnership with Lakhoo, the largest Filipino-owned non-bank remittance service provider seeks to reach out to overseas Filipino workers in Oman.


In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Wednesday, I-Remit said overseas Filipinos can now send remittances through Lakhoo’s 12 branches in the following areas: Muscat City Center, Muscat Grand Mall, Muttrah, Qurum City Center, Ruwi, Safeer, Salalah, Salalah Garden Mall, Sohar, Sur, Surwaiq and Walja Honda Road.
