PH Esri GIS user conference set





MANILA, Philippines—The yearly gathering of Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) software users will be held on Jan. 22 and 23, 2013 at the EDSA Shangri-La hotel’s Isla Ballroom with the theme “GIS (Geographic Information Systems): Enhancing Governance and Citizen Engagement.”


The two-day conference aims to share information about technological developments on the Esri GIS platform.


Speakers on the first day of the conference are National Mapping Resources Authority Administrator Peter N. Tiangco and Dean Angelides, Esri director for international operations.


A pre-conference event will be held on Jan. 21.
