Hong Kong stocks up 0.75 percent by the break





HONG KONG–Hong Kong shares rose 0.75 percent by the break on Friday after China released better-than-expected growth data for 2012.


The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 174.34 points to 23,514.10 on turnover of HK$40.17 billion ($5.18 billion).
