Bidding for Exportbank slated for Oct. 18

MANILA, Philippines—Philippine Deposit Insurance Corp. has announced that the bidding for Export and Industry Bank, which was closed earlier this year due to insolvency, will be held on October 18.


“Preparations for the bidding to rehabilitate the closed Export and Industry Bank (EIB) are proceeding smoothly,” PDIC said in a statement Tuesday.
