China shares down 0.78 percent in morning trade

SHANGHAI–Chinese shares were down 0.78 percent in morning trade Friday after overnight falls on Wall Street for the third consecutive day on worries that the US Federal Reserve may taper its stimulus programme, dealers said.


The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slid 17.29 points to 2,185.51.
